Interested in being an Arctic Voice Mentee?

Are you under 24 and live in an arctic community? Are you passionate about climate change, indigenous rights, or another issue impacting the arctic? Do you want to enact change in the arctic by creating a story that will be shared with high-ranking arctic organizations like the Arctic Council?

Apply to be an Arctic Voice Storytelling Mentee! As a mentee, you will create a video or photo series about an arctic issue impacting your community. In two months, you'll work with your Arctic Voice mentor to produce a story that accurately illustrates what life in the arctic is like for you. 

​

As a mentee, you get: mentorship from a published expert and up to $200 USD financial support for a storytelling project of your choice, publication of your story and a $200 USD stipend upon completion of your project, and connection to a growing international network of young arctic storytellers!

Interested in being an Arctic Voice Mentor?

Are you an experienced storyteller who's completed work in an arctic community? Do you want to help an arctic youth find their voice in the medium you love? Do you want to help influence change in the arctic alongside a young arctic local?

​

Apply to be an Arctic Voice Storytelling Mentor! As a mentor, you will train your mentee on how to produce a story and support them as they create a story about an issue they are passionate about. 

​

As a mentor, you get: to tutor a burgeoning arctic storyteller, a $300 USD stipend upon successful completion of the program, and connection to a growing international network of young arctic storytellers!
